SFX Challenge
At SFX we aim to encourage and reward those pupils who try to live out our school
Arabella, George and Niamh with their awards
ethos of “love of God and love of neighbour” in their everyday lives.
We have designed the SFX challenge so that those students who express the values of compassion, courage, stewardship and service through their actions both inside and outside of their daily lessons are recognised for doing this.
Our values
- Compassion – God loves us no matter who we are and as Jesus instructed us to love our neighbour, we aim to treat everyone with loving kindness.
- Courage – At SFX we want to develop leaders who will go out and make positive changes to our world and this takes bravery to step up and speak out and make a difference.
- Stewardship – God created our world and saw that “it was good”. He gave us the responsibility to take care of his creation. It is our duty to protect the world.
- Service – Jesus showed us by example that we are here to serve others when he washed the feet of his disciples. He is a servant leader, and we aim to mirror this in our everyday lives.
The Challenge
Students choose challenges (across all areas of the school) for each value set out for their year group and will be awarded the following:
- 15 challenges – bronze award
- 20 challenges – silver award
- 30 challenges – gold award
Following the completion of all three awards Year 10 student, Arabella (pictured above) now leads the SFX Challenge (from September 2025).
