Remembrance Day: Students Pay Tribute

Head Boy Sam and Head Girl Evie layed a wreath in Richmond as part of the Remembrance Sunday events, which marked the end of a week of activities at the school where the community thanked the Armed Services for their service and sacrifice.

Students of all ages participated in Collective Worship within their tutor groups and as part of assemblies where they considered the importance of remembering.

The symbolism of the poppy was explored in Whole School Assembly on Tuesday, where is was offered as a symbol of hope as well as sacrifice.

Students took part in a 2-minute silence on Thursday at 11 o'clock. A service of Remembrance was also held in the chapel during lunchtime.
